Senior Adult Ministry
Vision of the Senior Adult Program
- To provide a monthly program for Senior Adults in conjunction with the total program of our church;
- To show love and concern for our Senior Adults in the total program of our church;
- To give Senior Adults an opportunity to use their God-Given talents and abilities in service for our church;
- To provide Christian Fellowship in a way that ministers to loneliness, and provide an opportunity to learn new skills and interests;
- To provide Senior Adults with a deeper understanding of the assurance of God’s continuing love and care;
- To involve Senior Adults in the Ministry.
Golden Fellowship
A general fellowship of Seniors open to anyone from 55 years of age and onward. The Golden Fellowship meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall. Generally, there is a covered dish luncheon to follow the meeting. Plans that differ from lunch time meetings will be announced and published well in advance of the meeting time.
Along with general meetings the Golden Fellowship offers many ministry opportunities and care opportunities through group leaders and outreach. Membership is open to church members and non church members. Funds are taken at the meetings for general funds and benevolence needs but there are no dues for membership.
Senior Adult Bible Study
A weekly Senior Adult Bible Study is conducted on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Tuesday's of the month held on the mezzanine from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
